Center for Palliative Care Education

Program Description

The Center for Palliative Care Education, a project of the Northwest AETC, has been funded by HRSA and RWJF to serve as a national resource on HIV/AIDS palliative care. Our mission is to improve palliative care for people with HIV/AIDS by increasing the knowledge, skills, and comfort level of clinicians to provide this care. A training curriculum and other resources are available on their Website at www.uwpallcare.org. These materials, although focused on HIV/AIDS, are designed to be applicable to other life-threatening illnesses.
