The 11 regional and over 130 local offices in the AETC network manage targeted clinical training programs in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the six U.S.-affiliated Pacific Jurisdictions. Programs are geared especially to providers who serve minority populations, the homeless, rural communities, incarcerated persons, community and migrant health centers, and to Ryan White CARE Act-funded sites.
In addition to the regional and local AETC offices, four national centers provide a range of services to the network and directly to clinicians:
National Clinicians' Consultation Center: Phone consultation services for U.S. providers on topics related to HIV clinical care, post-exposure prevention, and prevention of mother-to-child transmission |
National Minority AETC: Clinical capacity development in minority communities in the U.S. |
National Evaluation AETC: Facilitates cross-region collaboration and piloting novel approaches to program evaluation within the AETC network |
National Resource Center: Facilitates cross-region workgroups, collaboration and communication; maintains online clearinghouse for training resources; promotes national AETC identity
