Date: 05/2007
Source: International AIDS Society-USA and AETC National Resource Center

Presenter: Donna M. Jacobsen, Executive Director, International AIDS Society-USA

Overview

This training exchange was developed in response to recent changes in the ACCME Standards for Commercial Support, requiring CME providers to reevaluate and restructure their systems for working with commercial supporters. Donna Jacobsen, Executive Director of the International AIDS Society-USA, an accredited CME provider, hosted this training exchange targeting AETC programs that accept working with commercial grants to support CME activities. She reviewed the new Standards and methods for implementing them through cases examples, and concluded by addressing participants' questions.

The webcast features streaming audio from the training exchange with synchronized slide presentations for all speakers. The total time of the audio is 1 hour 40 minutes. See the Related Resources for additional information about the objectives of the training exchange and for other resources.
