National and Regional Resources and Organizations

	AmbienteJoven A Spanish-language website for Latino young men who have sex with men and for Latino gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth in the United States and Latin America. AmbienteJoven's peer educators provide culturally relevant information and support on sexual health issues. Website produced by Advocates for Youth.
	Latino Commission on AIDS Education and advocacy group in New York, NY.
	Minority HIV/AIDS Initiative Program of the Office of Minority Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
	National Latino AIDS Awareness Day Annual day of observance throughout the U.S. about the impact of HIV/AIDS on Latino communities. The day is marked by grassroots events nationwide intended to increase the awareness of how HIV/AIDS affects U.S. Latinos. The day falls in October which is also Hispanic Heritage Month. Site in English and Spanish.
	National Minority AIDS Council An association of more than 3,000 AIDS service organizations that target people of color. NMAC can provide local referrals to member agencies upon request.

Community Organizations

	AIDS Project Los Angeles Long-standing comprehensive AIDS service organization in Los Angeles with many Spanish-language programs and resources.
	Bienestar Bienestar originated as a direct community response to the nonexistence of HIV/AIDS services for the Latino community and since 1989 has evolved into a multi-center HIV agency serving Los Angeles, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.
	Congreso de Latinos Unidos, Inc. Congreso's Programa Esfuerzo provides HIV counseling and testing; prevention education; case management; nutritional services; and support groups to the Latino and African American communities of North Philadephia.
	Entre Hermanos Community-based organization in Seattle that promotes the health and well-being of the Latino gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community in a culturally, socially, and emotionally appropriate environment. Programs include HIV/AIDS/STD prevention education for men who have sex with men and a smoking cessation program. Site in English and Spanish.
	Gay and Lesbian Latino AIDS Education Initiative Agency in Philadelphia serving the LGBT Latino community. Provides case management; HIV counseling and testing; prevention education; prevention case management; and outreach services (incl. specific services for gay men, transgender people and youth.)
	The Hispanic AIDS Awareness Program The Hispanic AIDS Awareness Program provides educational information and raises awareness about HIV/AIDS in the Latino communities of Central and South Florida.
	Hispanic AIDS Forum An organization offering HIV treatment and prevention services to New York's Latino population, as well as advocacy for issues around Latinos and HIV.
	San Francisco AIDS Foundation Large HIV/AIDS education and service agency in San Francisco with many Spanish-language programs and resources.
	QV Magazine The Latino Men's Journal. Links page includes a state-by-state listing of Latino LGBT community organizations, many of which have HIV/AIDS programs.
