The Pennsylvania/MidAtlantic AETC (PA/MA AETC), in collaboration with the Cincinnati STD/HIV Prevention Training Center, reached over 50 nurse practitioners, physicians, and nurses on 15 army medical center bases throughout the world through a video teleconference. The US Army Directorate of Health Promotion and Wellness from the US Army Center for Health Promotion and Prevention Medicine at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland arranged for this videoconference titled Revised Recommendations for HIV Testing in Healthcare Settings. PA/MA AETC has developed several resources for implementing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations for HIV testing.
