Description:

Members of the Curriculum Development Subgroup of the AETC Cultural Competence and Multicultural Care Workgroup developed this collection of ten case studies to address the critical elements of health literacy: empowerment/power dynamics, assessment, responsibility, and team effort. The target audiences for the case studies are AETC faculty and providers including physicians, advanced practice nurses, nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, and oral health profcasessionals. Learner hand-out and facilitator guides are included for each case.
