Rapid HIV Testing: It's Important: Patient education flyers

Source: U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and François Xavier Bagnoud Center at UMDNJ
Date: 01/2010

Description:

The target audience for these flyers are women in prenatal care or in labor that need HIV testing. The content supports the CDC's recommended opt-out approach to HIV testing. There are two versions of this flyer. One is designed for high-incidence settings, as defined by the CDC, where 3rd trimester re-testing is recommended and the second is designed for low-incidence settings where 3rd trimester testing "may" be recommended. The flyers are double-sided and are available in hardcopy in English and in Spanish at no cost by contacting the FXB Center/AETC National Resource Center at info@aidsetc.org.
