A National Training and Technical Assistance Network

Regional Map

Eleven regional AETCs with more than 130 local performance sites manage targeted clinical training programs in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the six U.S.-affiliated Pacific Jurisdictions. Programs are geared especially to providers who serve minority populations, the homeless, rural communities, incarcerated persons, community and migrant health centers, and to Ryan White-funded sites.

In addition to the regional and local AETC offices, five national centers provide a range of services to the network and directly to clinicians:

dot National Clinicians' Consultation Center: Provides phone consultation services for United States providers on topics related to HIV clinical care, post-exposure prevention, and prevention of mother-to-child transmission
space
dot AETC National Center for HIV Care in Minority Communities: Established in 2010, this center seeks to improve and enhance the organizational capacity of non-Ryan White funded community health centers to provide primary medical care and treatment to racial and ethnic minorities living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.
space
dot AETC National Multicultural Center: Offers clinical capacity development in minority communities in the United States
space
dot National Evaluation AETC: Facilitates cross-region collaboration and piloting novel approaches to program evaluation within the AETC network
space
dot National Resource Center: Facilitates cross-region workgroups, collaboration and communication; maintains online clearinghouse for training resources; promotes national AETC identity
