(No Matches) A group discussion is an activity that allows participants to share their experiences and ideas, solve a problem, or apply content information to different situations. The participants do most of the talking rather than the trainer. In a large group discussion, participants from the large group (usually more than ten people) discuss specific problems or issues. Large group discussions usually need to be facilitated by a trainer, and should run for a limited length of time. All participants should be encouraged to contribute. The trainer should review the main points from the large group discussion. Adapted from Edleman, L. An Overview of Adult Learning, Institute for Family-Centered Care. |
