This one-hour online training is intended to increase the learner's confidence in initiating risk assessment conversations with patients. It does this by modeling four different exchanges that might occur in the dental office or clinic between the patient and the care provider. The topics covered include: Pregnancy and HIV, Adherence to Antiretroviral Medications, Illegal Drug Use and Oral Sex.

This program is intended for all practitioners involved in caring for the oral health needs of patients.

Note: Mark your calendar for this update and training for Ryan White physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other direct clinical care providers. Features will include interactive workshops, lectures, and time for case consults with experts in the field. The Clinical Conference is a collaborative effort of HRSA/HAB, the International AIDS Society-USA (IAS-USA) and the Southeast AIDS Training and Education Center (SEATEC).
