Using rapid tests in L&D and the nursery is rapidly becoming widespread across the U.S. One of HRET's goals is to increase the number of hospitals working to eliminate perinatal HIV transmission by following CDC's guidelines using rapid screening in labor and delivery for women with undocumented HIV status. This free workshop is open to hospital staff from labor and delivery, nursery, emergency, laboratory, infectious disease, and pharmacy.
