dot2010 STD Treatment Guidelines Update

Note: The Sexually Transmitted Diseases Treatment Guidelines 2010, which update the 2006 Guidelines, will be published in the Centers for Control and Prevention's (CDC) Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report (MMWR) Recommendations and Reports on Friday, December 17, 2010, but will be available for early viewing on the MMWR website the afternoon of December 16. After the release, you can visit CDC's STD Treatment Guidelines 2010 webpage for additional information and updates. From there you will be able to order hard copies of the report as well as wall charts and pocket guides. A podcast featuring lead author, Dr. Kimberly Workowski, will be posted on Monday, December 20 for viewing.

dotInternational Conference on HIV Treatment and Prevention Adherence

Note: From May 22nd - 24th, the International Association of Physicians in AIDS Care (IAPAC) and the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) will co-host this conference in Miami, Florida. The world's foremost researchers, clinicians, and policy experts will be invited to focus on state-of-the-science HIV treatment and biomedical prevention adherence research, as well as current behavioral and clinical perspectives in practicum.

Note: All members on the AETC MAI listserv are invited to join the group's monthly MAI Coordinators conference calls. The calls provide an opportunity to collaborate, discuss projects, share best practices, lessons learned, and other important issues related to MAI. This forum started in 2009 and continues to be a resource to many MAI coordinators.
