The reviewers found this "informative and
thorough" booklet on clinical trials as an excellent resource for people with HIV/AIDS who are "in the decision making process of joining or not joining a clinical trial." The style writing in this booklet "does not assume that the reader already knows all the clinical terms and instead it defines everything." The reviewers agreed that this is a "lengthy resource," but it "keeps your interest to the end." They also suggested having the consumer read this booklet with a physician, nurse or case manager due to it's length and the questions it encourages the reader to ask. The reviewers agree that the clinical trials booklet targets people who have been "diagnose with HIV for a long time or who have experience with HIV medications."
