Reviewers commented that the layout of this booklet helps to make a confusing topic much more easily understood. Reviewers thought that the booklet encourages participation in clinical trials by providing detailed information to prepare the reader for the clinical trial process. Reviewers suggested that this booklet would be appropriate for distribution by clinicians who participate in clinical trials, as well as by HIV case managers and outreach workers. Reviewers thought that the booklet may be most helpful to people who are newly diagnosed with HIV, whom do not have health insurance and who have not initiated treatment, unless this contradicts with trial inclusion criteria.
