SYNOPSIS/DESCRIPTION:
This booklet is designed for caregivers of people in the late stages of a terminal illness. It describes the changes that occur as they approach death and suggestions for the caregiver to assist in comforting them through this process. The information covered in this booklet includes changes in strength, vision, breathing, sleep and attention. The booklet also prepares the caregiver on what steps to take after the person has died.

The reviewers said this piece is very helpful to people taking care of someone with a terminal illness. Reviewers said the suggestions for the caregivers are "very practical, specific and informative." They also noted that the style of language used in this piece is "comforting" and "easy to understand."
