Reviewers agreed that this is a helpful guide for anyone who "recently discovers he or she is HIV positive or who has been positive for a while, but is now willing to learn more about it." The piece is easy to understand and "does not provide too much detail," which can sometimes be overwhelming when one first learns of their infection. One reviewer said, "this booklet will prompt questions and make them (readers) think more clearly about their goals and actions." Reviewers suggested that the booklet be distributed by social workers, health care clinics and case managers.
