THE POCKET GUIDE TO HIV/AIDS TREATMENT
The "Pocket Guide to HIV/AIDS Treatment" is a collection of reference tables created from the various DHHS guidelines (Adult ART, Pregnancy, OIs). The May 2002 Pocket Guide, now a saddle stitched booklet which will fit in any pocket, was produced by the AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETC) National Resource Center with funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration's HIV/AIDS Bureau. The Pocket Guide is designed to assist clinicians in caring for patients with HIV/AIDS, but does not substitute for appropriate training. Contact the AETC near you to learn how to register for such training.

The Pocket Guide is being distributed to AETC trainees. Copies may also be obtained by contacting the HRSA Information Center at 1-800-275-4772 or on the web at: http://www.ask.hrsa.gov/

Users who download the PDF version of the Pocket Guide should note that the size and format differs from the print version but contains the same information

COLORADO AETC - HIV MEDICATION CHART
The Colorado AETC has generously shared its Medication Chart. It is intended to serve as an effective HIV reference and patient management tool. The pad has 50 tear-off sheets, each of which features all currently approved antiretroviral drugs, organized by class and shown actual size. The reverse side of each sheet contains a dosing worksheet, which can be individualized to each patient's drug regimen and used as an educational and discussion tool. The sheet may then be sent home with the patient as a reference. The worksheet side also contains key adherence tips and room to list contact information for patients.
