Content Review

Experts specializing in areas of HIV/AIDS care at the New York State Department of Health, AIDS Institute (NYSDOH/AI) complete the content reviews. Areas of expertise include mental health, treatment adherence, dental health, opportunistic infections, drugs/alcohol use, and pediatric/maternal health. The content review is reflective of one expert's opinion based on his/her experience and practice in the field of HIV treatment and care. Opinions may differ from regional needs, practices, and guidelines, but reflect broadly accepted, current information regarding care and treatment of persons living with HIV/AIDS.
