Brief Synopsis of NRC Consumer Reviews: Reviewers agree that
this piece may be most helpful for people who are just starting
HIV therapy, as well as for their families and friends. One reviewer
said that until she read this brochure, she, "did not realize
how much other people were involved in (her) adherence to medication."
Another reviewer, who is an adherence counselor, said she is planning
to "walk clients through this tool to help them understand
the team approach" among their providers, and their family
members. Most of the reviewers agreed that the pill chart is very
useful for adherence to their HIV medication and helps teach about
the different types of HIV medications available.
