Synopsis/Description: This booklet dispels ten common myths about HIV medication. It includes the following information: when to start taking medications, tips for improving medication adherence; and description of body changes that may occur while on medication.

Brief Synopsis of NRC Consumer Reviews: One reviewer said that this booklet covers, "…all of the major myths about taking medications, such as dealing with long term medication use issues, hard dosing schedules and varying regimens." Another reviewer found it helpful because it, "clears up what the media and peers" are saying about taking HIV medications. Reviewers agreed that this piece should be read by the general population living with HIV, anyone contemplating initiation of HIV therapy and anyone supporting a person on HIV therapy, such as a family member or care-giver.
