Synopsis of NRC Consumer Reviews: The reviewers said this
brochure is a useful piece for people newly diagnosed with HIV and
for people who are looking for "education on basic principles of
food safety." One reviewer discussed that the information in the
brochure "takes away some of the fears" around restricting your
diet for safety reasons. Another reviewer suggested that this resource
is " a bit limited, but it teases the reader to continue to look
for more information" from sources listed in the back of the brochure
or from their physician. Reviewers agreed this resource would be
distributed most often by case managers, educators, nurses, physicians
and nutritionist.
