NEWS AND NEW DEVELOPMENTS



FDA Approves 600 mg Tablet On February 1, 2002, the FDA approved the new formulation of efavirenz, a 600 mg tab to be taken once daily. This drug will continue to be available in 50, 100 and 200 mg capsules. The 600 mg tablet is actually smaller than the 200 mg capsule.
