HAART Reduces Kaposi's Sarcoma Risk [J Natl Cancer Inst 2000;93:1823]: The authors review 23 prospective cohort studies with 48,000 HIV-infected persons in North America, Europe, and Australia. The relative risk of KS for 1997-99 compared to 1992-96 was 0.38; for non-Hodgkin's lymphoma it was 0.74. Other cancers did not change significantly, but the numbers were much smaller.
