Swaziland Debates Sterilization of HIV Patients [Lancet 2000; 356: 321]: This is a review in "Policy and People" in Lancet stating that the parliament in Swaziland will debate proposed legislation requesting mandatory sterilization of persons with HIV infection. More than 25% of the population of one million has HIV infection and almost half of all hospital beds are occupied by these patients. posted 8/7/2000
