Unique/special services: The MPAETC provides a broad spectrum of educational services to providers in the region. In addition to face-to-face education (in the form of conferences, workshops, lectures, and skills building sessions), we also offer self-study modules in hard copy and on the Internet, mini-sabbaticals (clinical experiences), video conferencing, and distribution of printed materials. We also offer an e-mail consultation service for health care providers at HIVConsultation@hchsc.edu

Requests for services: Potential participants can call directly into any of the eight local performance sites to request educational sessions and/or to find out about educational programs and consultation services offered through each center. Site-specific information is available on the Internet at http://www.uchsc.edu/sm/aids. Local performance sites can also be contacted by e-mail and fax. Some programs (i.e. mini-sabbaticals and conferences) can be requested through responses to informational brochures and registration forms.
