Qualitative Interviews PDF [190 KB] Description:I-TECH's Technical Implementation Guides are a series of practical and instructional papers designed to support staff and partners in their efforts to create and maintain quality programs worldwide. This guide describes qualitative interviewing, and gives specific recommendations on how to perform them. While in a survey the quality of the questionaire determines the quality of the data collected, with a qualitative interview the skill of the interviewer is paramount. This document defines the differences between structured, unstructured and semi-structured interviews and gives techniques for eliciting information. Browse similar resources: |
