Learning Objectives

To familiarize participants with new tools intended to guide the management of co-morbidities and complications that emerge when managing primary care in patients with HIV-infection.

Presenters do not discuss the actual content of the tools, but comment on their use in training and as clinical support materials.

As a package, the tools outline the broad spectrum of primary care and mental health awareness necessary for comprehensive HIV/AIDS primary care management. The package also presents a practical guide to help providers approach patients about these primary care topics. The tools are in final draft form and the Training Exchange was a forum in which the developers could receive additional feedback.

Teleconference Slides and Handouts

Participants downloaded the presentations and had them ready for reference during the teleconference. Rather than slides, the PowerPoint handouts are provided in PDF format for teleconference participants. Presenters discuss a total of seven resources.
