About the Women's Health and Wellness Workgroup

The AETC Women's Health and Wellness Workgroup was charged with the task of facilitating collaboration among the AETCs in the identification, development, and dissemination of materials for HIV providers and educators. After reviewing a resource inventory and through extensive discussion, the workgroup divided into two subgroups and set out to develop tools and resources addressing women's health issues, with a particular emphasis on HIV screening and cervical cancer screening. These tools and resources have been developed collaboratively by experienced providers and educators from the AETCs and Regional Training Centers for Family Planning (RTCs) through their involvement with the AETC workgroup.
